DJ 102 @ Miyagi Education
Summer Session A
DJ 102 is the next step in your Miyagi Education pathway—an intermediate-level course designed for students who already understand the fundamentals and are ready to level up their technique, confidence, and creative possibilities. What You’ll Learn
DJ 102 deepens and expands the skills introduced in 101, focusing on precision, control, creativity, and confidence. Across four sessions, students will explore:
-
Advanced use of Serato, including cues, loops, pitch, and library workflow
-
Building cleaner, smoother, more intentional transitions
-
Understanding phrasing at a deeper level
-
Sharpening your vinyl fundamentals (because the analog skills always matter)
-
Blending techniques for more complex mixes
-
Crafting a cohesive 30–45 minute set with purpose and narrative
-
Developing your performance instincts in a live environment
The course is taught by RTST, a world-renowned turntablist and DJ battle organizer, bringing both technical mastery and deep musical perspective.
