Every Thursday from 4–7pm, we invite you to ease out of your week the analog way. No pressure. Just you, resetting. D & D is a weekly ritual rooted in rhythm, reflection, and record bins. Pull up, slow down, and let the shop set the tone for your evening — with curated soundtracks, a rotating selection of 21+ drinks, and curated energy by local DJs who'll also livestream during the events. Each week also features hands-on workshops — from beat-making to analog art sessions to musical conversation — giving you space to explore, create, and connect with community.

 We’re in that sweet spot — the days are long, the weather’s golden, and weekends still feel wide open. So we’re making space to savor it. Summer Brunch Saturdays is a new series at Miyagi Records, bringing together our favorite local food pop-ups, good coffee, a few adult sips, and — always — the right soundtrack. Each Saturday, a different chef or crew takes over the shop from late morning to afternoon. You bring your appetite, your people, and your curiosity. We’ll bring the records. Come through to eat, dig, and post up for a while — this isn’t just about a meal, it’s about the moment. Whether you’re passing through or staying all day, you’re part of the rhythm.

Every Saturday we invite a local DJ to take over the Shop's turntables and play absolutely whatever they're feeling, no requests. The idea is that in a club or bar setting, you're often not hearing the full range of an artist's repertoire. You likely won't hear your favorite DJ spinning what they REALLY love or collect, listen to at home, or zone out to on the train. And that's what Selector Saturdays is meant for... It's a place for DJs to stretch out and go deep, without any pressure to make anyone dance, tap a toe, or recognize the song. And as listeners, we're just here to take in what they're putting down and ride along on the journey.
