And we can't possibly stock everything, nor do we seek to. With a focus on quality over quantity, we offer the classics everyone knows and loves along with other vinyl essentials for everyone's collection. In addition to new and reissued vinyl we also specialize in sourcing hard-to-find original pressings.

Established in 2018, we are based on Chicago's south side and look forward to providing you with the best vinyl your turntable's ever played.

We are a Chicago-based record dealer since 2002. We specialize in the obscure and classic - Soul, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Rock, Blues, World Music, New Wave / Industrial, Hip-Hop, Disco, House in LP, 12inch single, & 45rpm formats. Influenced by the hyper-curated, hidden away vinyl shops of Tokyo, Japan, our goal is to become your 'secret spot.'

“As long as it’s funky it’s alright it’s ok” for DJ PWC. Hailing from Southern California, he's respected from backing up legendary MCs (Blu, Gonjasufi etc) to DJing lowrider shows, tour managing, merchandising as well as coordinating and rocking funky dance parties.

Fanita Banana

Fanita Banana is a music selector on vinyl and digital formats. Her sounds are contemporary beats from Latinamerica & beyond. She is part of Future Rootz collective and The Ponderers.

Katharine Hepburn

Katharine Hepburn’s taste is rooted in classic selections, always serving deep grooves and disco dives to relax your mind and free your body. Like the original Hollywood diamond in the rough, be prepared to be charmed with her balance of edgy cuts and vinyl soaked in soul.

La Colocha

La Colocha began collecting and selecting records while living on the US-Mexico border, spinning in bars, parties, and cantinas in the center of Ciudad Juarez. Raised in Queens, NY, her love of boogaloo, salsa, and Afro-Latin rhythms grew from sounds emanating from her neighbors windows and the beats booming from car radios speeding down her block. La Colocha also found resonance in her mother's roots via the Sonidero tradition of Mexico City, instilling an insatiable appetite for cumbia sonidera and exposing her to mambo, guaracha and danzón. These experiences weave the sonic tapestry La Colocha emits in each of her sets to move the hearts and bodies of the people who hear her play.

With a love for DJing that began in grade school when using two tape decks to spin basement parties, TREW’s main aim is to weave a common thread through seemingly disparate genres. Drawing inspiration from the early 1980s NYC art/music world, he believes no genre is off limits, no collaboration too outlandish.

While not DJing he co-owns Ground Lift Media - a digital marketing company, is 1/2 of the DJ/Production duo Altered Tapes, owns and operates Heat Rock Records, and is deep into vinyl excavation having amassed thousands of rare Soul, Funk, Disco, & Jazz records. A hobby/obsession he shares with the world via his Miyagi Records Shop.
