Chicago Vinyl Connection is a new record show with a mission from old - connecting discerning diggers of Chicagoland to the best records and to one another. For the November holiday installment, we're celebrating our new Northside expanded location! We've added a small vintage loft featuring a few local dealers who'll be selling non-Music items to go along with the thousands of new and used vinyl albums our dealers will have in stock. Expect to find the classics you know and need, plus the genres and artists not typically available at record shows. And, through the music, expect to connect with other local collectors!

MEET THE VINYL VENDORS

DJ D.R.E.A.M + DJ MATERIAL (Chicago)

Co-creators of the popular 'Vibes on Logan' outdoor gathering / dance party / sunday chill event, DJ D.R.E.A.M. and DJ Material will be bringing out a table full of collectible and must-have vinyl from their deep crates!

FEELTRIP RECORDS (Chicago)

Feeltrip is a record label and artist collective based in Chicago IL. They specialize in local music, screen printed apparel, 'zines, posters, and anything DIY. They hold monthly events throughout the city and work / collaborate within Chicago's vast DIY scene.

GMUSIK (Chicago)

An independent record dealer for decades, and a staple at the Hillside Record Show, GMusik will have a selection of gently used Jazz, Soul and R&B LP's. Plus 12" dance singles!

RECORD WONDERLAND (Chicago)

Record Wonderland just celebrated its fifth anniversary as a storefront at 737 E. Nerge Road in Roselle, IL. Always eclectic, we try to stock a variety of genres and formats. For this installment of The Chicago Vinyl Connection, they are bringing out hundreds of (mostly) affordable but very clean vintage soul/R&B 45s, primarily from the 1970s.

THIRD HAND RECORDS (Chicago)

Thirdhand Records is a record dealing business with brick and mortar/label aspirations. It started with two friends selling parts of their collections online during the quarantine. They sell all genres, from folk to classic rock to local Chicago indie bands.

WILD PRAIRIE VINTAGE + VINYL (Chicago)

Wild Praire is a fairly new Vinyl + Vintage shop located near Humboldt Park. They are a buy/sell/trade shop specializing in vinyl records & vintage clothing.

SOUTH RHODES RECORDS (Chicago)

South Rhodes Records is your home for all Hip-Hop, Jazz, and R&B music on vinyl. Well, not quite all. We recognize that there is more music being produced now than ever. And we can't possibly stock everything, nor do we seek to. With a focus on quality over quantity, we offer the classics everyone knows and loves along with other vinyl essentials for everyone's collection. In addition to new and reissued vinyl we also specialize in sourcing hard-to-find original pressings.

A Filipino-owned, small family business, Tiny Opal Vintage specializes in gently used unisex adult & toddler vintage clothing, accessories, & home goods. Expect a little bit of everything at their Vintage Loft table!

MEET THE DJS

NOSHA LUV

Noshaluv was born and raised in Chicago and her roots are deeply seeded in Chicago House Muzik. This all began with a DJ named Rush. He introduced her to House Muzik taking Nosha to her first party at The Bismarck. Dancing was Nosha’s first passion. She blasted onto the underground house music scene partying at places like Medusa’s, Alcatraz, and other loft parties in Chicago. The evolution of playing records sharpened her skills over the years and now she plays around Chicago and abroad. Noshaluv continues to break barriers and overcome boundaries, playing dance music to rock and inspire your soul.

SELECTIVE LISTENING

Regina Martinez, also known as selective listening, is a sound-centered artist based in Chicago. She will be spinning a pulse heavy collection inspired by her attraction to the experimental and sentimental.

ZZZOSMA

DJ ZZZosma started spinning records in 2015. Her focus is playing music created and popularized by Black people from all over the world; soul, disco, funk, house, and hip hop.

TREW

With a love for DJing that began in grade school when using two tape decks to spin basement parties, TREW’s main aim is to weave a common thread through seemingly disparate genres. Drawing inspiration from the early 1980s NYC art/music world, he believes no genre is off limits, no collaboration too outlandish.

While not DJing he co-owns Ground Lift Media - a digital marketing company, is 1/2 of the DJ/Production duo Altered Tapes, owns and operates Heat Rock Records, and is deep into vinyl excavation having amassed thousands of rare Soul, Funk, Disco, & Jazz records. A hobby/obsession he shares with the world via his Miyagi Records Shop.

GRANT CRUSOR

After rifling through the record collections of his parents, his friend's parents, and his family, Grant knew at an early age he had an odd obsession with vinyl. This passion led him to begin South Rhodes Records but before he even sold his first record, you could find him placed squarely behind a set of 1200s. Expect soulful tunes of all era with a focus on the classic and modern era New Jack Sound.
